Experience

Andrius has been in the construction industry for over 10 years. He learnt the trade on site with experienced builders, before going to college to learn the nuances of everything from plumbing and electrics to structural techniques and building compliance. 

Andrius now runs his own business, specialising in bathrooms, kitchens and full internal renovations. 

The team

Rather than look to subcontractors to help with building projects, Andrius employs a small, close team that he trusts implicitly. Andrius has hand-selected and gradually introduced eight bathroom fitters, a project assistant, project coordinator and project administrator to his business, all of whom he has the utmost confidence in to deliver his high standard of work.

Quoting and working process

Andrius has his own established system for estimating pricing and providing quotes that helps the tender process to run like clockwork. Fair pricing is the cornerstone of his business. Once he’s done a site visit for a project, he fills in a pricing questionnaire with variables and then cross-checks this against similar completed jobs to ensure the cost aligns. A colleague then checks this again before it’s sent out to a client. 

A similar level of diligence is applied if unexpected costs or issues pop up during a project: everything is systemised. Andrius runs it though his internal communication system to make sure everyone is in the loop, before getting in touch with the client on their designated WhatsApp group or via email to make them aware. He then provides his client with options of varying price and they can decide whether they want to go ahead with the changes. If yes, the cost is documented and added to the project fee at the end.

For Andrius, the best part of his work is twofold: the results he brings his clients and the positive workspace he’s created. He loves turning spaces that are old and dated into beautiful, functional homes that his customers love. His day-to-day is also something he appreciates; he and the team have created a working environment founded on mutual respect and value of each other.
