ContractorProject brief
Last on our list of works was our family bathroom which needed a complete re-fit and new design. We were looking for a contractor who’d offer a complete service from assistance with the procurement of supplies, to closely managing the project and dealing with the logistics of working in one the narrowest cul-de-sacs in Chelsea. RBK&C do not issue visitor parking permits so we also needed a contractor who didn’t need to have a van parked on the street all day. Andrius ticked all the boxes.
“Going through my brief with The Page and getting an understanding from them on costs, timeline and the kind of bathroom fitter I needed, completely put me at ease. From the options provided Andrius was the standout with his clear eye for detail, great communication skills and capacity to manage the job effectively and help with ordering and delivering the supplies. We absolutely love the bathroom and so much so, I’ve since become a shareholder of The Page!”
Product Review
I used a range of suppliers for my bathroom which for the most part Andrius was able to use his trade discounts – he saved me £2,000! I wanted the key feature to be our vanity unit which was from Aspenn Furniture Aspenn Furniture vanity unit. I felt the tiles would give the bathroom the look and feel we were going for and Mandarin Stone has wonderful porcelain stone design options. We chose Stamford Sand Stone Effect for the floor and for the shower walls, Paloma ivory gloss marble effect porcelain. I wanted a chic and clean look for the shower and so went for Lusso as they have more bespoke designs than some of the other suppliers and still at competitive prices. The Loo being the least exciting part was purchased from Victorian Plumbing and I can’t recommend Etsy highly enough for niche finds, like this Traditional shelf which adds some extra character!
