Project brief

I was a first time buyer and this was therefore a first in tackling a renovation project. Part of the project was renovating the kitchen which was dated and its layout impacted the natural light too. As it was a full interior refurb, I needed a contractor who could cover multiple services with one lead contact to manage. The kitchen was from Howdens, so they would need to have an account with them and with changes to the kitchen layout, have the required experience to advise on plumbing and electrical changes. Being on the first and second floor, the contractor would also need to work with and be considerate of my neighbour on the ground floor.

“I really needed guidance as to who the best profile of contractor was for this project which The Page were perfect for. Knowing the contractor would be excellent but also incentivised to do a great job as they were working with The Page was extra reassuring. With any large project issues are bound to crop up so knowing The Page could step in, utilising their relationship with the contractor to help keep momentum was also invaluable. I couldn’t be happier with the end result. I highly recommend both The Page and Gregory.”

Product Review

My kitchen units were the Allendale range from Howdens. I liked being able to choose a design in store and use one place for everything including appliances and a worktop. I also felt re-assured Gregory had good experiences dealing with them and was complimentary about the quality of their cabinets and the flexibility they offer when being installed. I would always recommend making sure your builder is present for at least one on-site meeting with the kitchen designer. To give it a more bespoke look, I used Touch Ironmongery based in SW10 for all the handles.
